It feels like ages since I've actually sat down and wrote a blog post (even though it was only a week ago) but things happen and sometimes what you enjoy doing has to take a back seat for a little while. With that said I'll be a little quite on the blog for the next month or so, not completely silent because I have a few things to share with you lovely people but my main (and only) focus right now are my assignments, essays, dissertation but when my Summer comes around I'll have plenty of time to do what I love.

March has been a slow yet fast month of taking some time to see some good friends, dinners, functions and coffee breaks. It is always nice to catch up with friends, I always miss them no matter how long ago I've seen them. Coffee, coffee, coffee. It's my fuel and I have consumed quite a lot of it this month. Spring arrived for about a day and one night it decided to snow and stay freezing cold for a few days. I do love Winter but if the calender says it's Spring it should be Spring. This week was my last week ever of lectures and seminars at uni, it feels strange but it doesn't feel like it's over yet and when my friend and I were walking out they were wishing everyone good luck with final exams/assessments.

p.s. I think everyone knows about the whole Google reader shutting down thing, if you don't want to lose the blogs you follow try out Bloglovin' it is very simple to use, you can transfer the blogs you follow on Google reader to it. So if you wish to keep up with my ramblings you can follow The Night is Wild on there.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Mother's Day, Mum. This will be the 20th one for you today, not that I'm trying to make you sound old or anything but that is how long you have been my Mother and I've been your child. No matter what has happened in our lives we have stayed together for over 20 years, some have been harder than others but we are here today and will still be that way, long after either of us walk this earth. Thank you for my life, your faith in me and everything, I know I don't express this often but it is sometimes easier to write the things you don't say, this day is for you.

Love you, Mum.

I don't know if it is because February is the shortest month or if life goes fast when you're busy but I felt like I just blinked and it is now March. Nothing excited to report here but here is my monthly overview.

One afternoon I felt like sketching a few little things, I also changed the blog banner/title thing. I kind of took it for granted when I was at school, having to complete a double page a week in my art book but at least I now enjoy it more. For 2 weeks my uni had a giant flashing heart in the main area, a person in a heart costume spreading the love to promote the NSS and we were rewarded with treats and one of them was love heart sweets with their own packaging. Kick started my mornings with porridge and blueberries. My name is Natasha and I have an obsession with taking photos of sunsets, looking outside of my window some afternoons just brought a warmth to the day. I have spent a bit of time in the library this month and because the uni is sat on a hill the view is pretty epic. Unfortunately I had 3 deadline days all in one month, it has been a killer. In the last week I treated myself shopping and was so happy to see my favourite author all over Waterstones.

How has your February been?
