Music Monday: Cocteau Twins

The 80's is probably my favourite decade for music, a large amount of my music library consists of bands from that time. Cocteau Twins are one of them, they also happen to be Scottish, an added bonus in my eyes. I was born in Scotland and my mother is Scottish, she was one of those 80's teens (the lucky woman) and I can just imagine that this song was played on the radio when she was a teenager. She has always said that I would have loved living in the 80's for the music and I completely agree but the advantage of living in the 21st century is I can still go back and listen to it all.

The other day I discovered a new app Soundtracking I love it. When I explained to my friend (who also loves it) I described it as a Instagram/Twitter where you can post songs like your own personal playlist or as they phrase it 'the soundtrack of your life'. It is great for discovering new music because you can play a few seconds of the songs the people you follow post.
