The Christmas period has now finished. Gifts have been exchanged, lots of food has been eaten, alcohol has been consumed and the magic that everyone feels is slowly calming down. The festive spirit did not reach me this year unfortunately, working in retail and being a student is not a good combination for this time of year. A busy work place and thousands of words to write puts a downer on Christmas. I have had a few good moments, wrapping up Christmas gifts, giving and receiving (my Mum used wrapping paper with owls on them, she know me well), drinking wine, pulling crackers, coming home to pretty lights and veggie style Christmas dinner (I love honey roasted parsnips).
I hope all of you lovely people have had an enjoyable festive holiday.
